ICA Set to Honour Amb Ogbonna With Prestigious Merit Award in Owerri

The Institute of Corporate Administration (ICA) has concluded plans to honour the Chairman of the Imo State Sports Commission, Hon. Prince Sir (Amb.) Eleazer Onyewuchi Ogbonna, FINCA, with a distinguished Merit Award in recognition of his exceptional contributions to public service, administrative excellence and humanitarian leadership.

The award presentation is scheduled to hold as a major highlight of the ICA 2026 Second Quarter Regional Conference, billed for Friday, May 23, 2026, at the Rock View Hotel, Owerri, by 11:00am.

The event will be held under the theme: “Developing Organizational Resilience for Managing in Uncertain Times.”

In a formal notification letter signed by the Director/Chief Learning Officer of the Institute, Dr. Godswill Onyekwere, FCAI, FIIA, FWSC, the ICA disclosed that Amb. Ogbonna will be presented with a Certificate of Merit and an Executive Wall Plaque, as part of the Institute’s recognition of individuals whose track record reflects excellence in administration and service delivery.

According to the letter, the award is in appreciation of Amb. Ogbonna’s “dedication and commitment towards service, upwarding drive, mobile and visionary approach to administrative matters, professionalism in service and public spiritedness.”
