KHF Marks World Heart Day In Owerri Spt 29 With Theme; "Hope For Healthy Heart Walk"

All is now set for the 2025 edition of the Kanu Heart Foundation KHF World Heart Day celebration event.

According to the Local Organizing Committee LOC, this year event will hold in Owerri, IMO State on Monday September 29th with the theme; "Hope For Healthy Heart Walk".

The event which is soly sponsored by Amb Kanu 'Papilo' Nwankwo through his foundation is an annual event that has continued to attract global recognition with notable dignitaries identifying with the charity Walk and other activities to help educate the society on the significance of taking good care of your heart.

As part of activities for this year's event, they will be a novelty match at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri on Monday morning while the usual Solidarity Walk to mark the Wold Heart Day will take off from the Kanu Sports Center at the back of Imo State University, Owerri and round the city of Owerri as mapped out by  the LOC.

Recall that  Kanu Nwankwo during his career has a heart surgery which came out successfully and since then has continued to champion a charity course through his Kanu Heart Foundation KHF, to help those with similar ailments and which has received tremendous support.
