Abia Gov, Otti Orders Newly Recruited Teachers To Be Posted Where They Can Function Effectively

Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, has directed that newly recruited teachers must be posted to areas where they can function effectively, stressing that fairness and respect must guide the process

 “I want to reaffirm that teachers should be posted where they can function effectively. If any newly recruited teacher finds their posting unsuitable, they should be reposted, no one should obstruct that process. Those posted far from their local government of application should be reassigned accordingly"-Gov. Alex Otti orders.

Governor Otti stated that any teacher who finds their posting unsuitable should be promptly reassigned, particularly those posted outside the local governments where they originally applied. He warned that no official should obstruct or frustrate this process.

“This recruitment was based on merit and must be handled with fairness and respect. Any official who disrespects this directive or frustrates these young teachers is acting against the spirit of this government and will be held accountable,” Otti said.

The governor’s directive aims to ensure that the education sector in Abia State remains both effective and just in its treatment of newly recruited teachers.
