Imo SWAN Members Pay Final Respect To Ajuzie's Mother @ 70




Members of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Imo State chapter, have continued to commiserate with one of their own, Comrade Kenneth Ajuzie (Bokline), following the burial of his mother, Mrs. Comfort Ajuzie (née Nwagbaraocha).


Mrs. Ajuzie was laid to rest on April 17, 2026, in her husband’s hometown of Umuagwada, Umuaro Village, Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State. She passed away at the age of 70.


The deceased hailed from Umuchudo, Umuodu Village in Owerri Municipal, Imo State, and was married to Mr. Ufomba Ajuzie. Until her death, she was a dedicated healthcare worker based in Baltimore, Maryland, United States, where she spent years rendering selfless service to humanity.


The burial ceremony attracted a large turnout of dignitaries, family members, friends, and colleagues from within and outside the state, reflecting the high regard in which she was held. Members of the Imo SWAN chapter were also in attendance to pay their last respects and stand in solidarity with their colleague, while expressing heartfelt condolences and praying for the peaceful repose of the deceased’s soul.


May her soul continue to rest in peace.
