Enyimba FC is set to lock horns with Enugu Rangers in the highly anticipated Oriental Derby at the iconic Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu "the Cathedral".

The NPFL Matchday 35 showdown, scheduled for 4pm, promises to deliver another chapter of pride, passion, and raw intensity between two of Nigeria’s most decorated football institutions.

Although the encounter has been declared a closed door fixture following league sanctions on the hosts, the atmosphere around the derby remains electric, with both clubs carrying the weight of history, tradition and title ambition into Sunday’s clash.

For Enyimba FC, this is more than a derby, it is a statement opportunity.

Fresh off a commanding 3-0 victory over Katsina United, the People’s Elephant head into the Cathedral with renewed belief and rising momentum as Coach Emmanuel Deutsch Gustavo continues to steady the ship in the business end of the season.
