Amb Ogbonna Hails Nnadozie's Triple CAF Award, Describes Her As Great Amazon

The Imo State Sports Commission Chairman, Hon Prince Sir Eleazer Onyewuchi Ogbonna, FINCA has praised Chiamaka Nnadozie for her third straight CAF Goalkeeper of the Year award.

Amb Ogbonna who made the commendation from Europe through his PA, Hon Eze described the Imo State born Super Falcons Goalkeeper as a true Amazon who's achievement is remarkable.

He noted that the feat has once again projected Imo State positively on the global sporting stage insisting that the administration of His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma is excited that such a historic accomplishment is happening during his tenure, adding that the state government has always regarded Nnadozie and other Imo-born athletes as worthy ambassadors. 

In his words;

This achievement further underlines that the Governor's host of Nnadozie and other members of the Super Falcons earlier in the year following their triumph at the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations in Morocco ignited further confidence that Nnadozie’s continued exploits for the state and the nation at large.

He urged all Imo athletes in every sports including Heartland Queens FC under Coach Ogbala and Heartland FC under Coach Emmanuel Amuneke to draw inspiration from Nnadozie's exploits as they take part in their various competitions and league.

Amb Ogbonna however reassured that Governor Uzodimma's administration will continue to prioritize the empowerment of youths in the state through sports by promoting sports development as the Sports Commission under his watch will continue to exploit ways of partnering with foreign body's to improve our sports growth.
