Speaking ahead of the historic Abia FA Cup encounter, Udemba revealed that the club was born out of a deep seated desire to help young talents through football, just as the game once shaped his own life.

“It has always been my passion to help people, and I believe the best way to do that is through football, the very game that gave me a platform,” Udemba stated.

Drawing from his experience abroad, particularly in Spain where he founded Young Stars FC in Malaga, Udemba explained that Booga FC is a deliberate attempt to replicate a proven developmental model back home in Nigeria.

“When I was in Malaga, I established Young Stars FC to guide and develop young players, and the impact was incredible. Bringing that same idea to Nigeria is something very personal to me, that’s the foundation of Booga FC,” he added.

For Udemba, Booga FC is more than just a team; it is a structured pathway for aspiring footballers to transition from raw potential to professional excellence. While results on the pitch remain important, the club’s immediate focus is firmly rooted in long term growth and sustainability.

“Right now, we are focused on building a solid structure. This is our first real competition, and while results may not define us at this stage, we will compete with determination and give our best,” he affirmed.
