
First Mahi Babes Unveils Fast Growing Teenage Keeper, Ogbonna Merit
Spurred by the policy to continue unearthing talents and develop them to stadom, First Mahi Babes FC, has unveiled fast growing teenage goalkeeper, Ogbonna Nwakaego Merit.
In a brief ceremony which took place at the clubs house in Abajah-Nwangele of Imo State, the Club Chairman, Prince Chidiebere Eze Onuoha said the team is delighted to have the young keeper who's passion for glory matches that of the club.
"Yeah we are delighted to have Merit Ogbonna Nwakaego in our fold. She is a players who fits our ambition and wants to work with our philosophy.
"She is a promising talents and as you can see her admiration tells you she is happy with the club and ready to go places with the team.
First Mahi Babes though narrowly missed promotion to NWFL Premiership in the just concluded NWFL Championship were it placed second in group A of the league which took place in Umiahia and Abiriba simultaneously.
The player in her reaction, expressed her delight to be with the club and promised to continue to work hard to improve on her game and help the team achieve their set goals.
