Pastor Levi-Dobson Ahuamah Honoured at Owerri 2025 Human Rights Convention

It was a moment of honour and recognition at Rockview Hotels, Owerri, as Pastor Levi-Dobson Ahuamah, President of the Aba East Conference of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, received an Ambassadorial Award of Excellence during the 2025 Human Rights Convention organized by the Center for Human Rights Protection and Justice Advocacy.

The prestigious award was presented to Pastor Ahuamah in acknowledgment of his laudable contributions to humanity, justice, and advocacy for the less privileged. According to the organizers, the Human Rights Advocacy of Nigeria found him worthy of the honour for consistently standing for truth, defending the voiceless, and making tangible efforts toward uplifting the downtrodden.

In his remarks, Pastor Ahuamah expressed gratitude for the recognition, stressing that the award comes with greater responsibility. “As an awardee, it is expected of me to speak for the voiceless, contribute to humanity, and defend the cause of justice. I am passionate about helping the less privileged, and this honour strengthens my resolve to do even more,” he said.

The convention, which attracted notable advocates and stakeholders, also featured the induction of new members, the recognition of Human Rights Ambassadors, and the presentation of certificates to deserving participants.

The event underscored the importance of collective responsibility in promoting justice and protecting human rights in Nigeria.
