Kun Khalifa FC CEO, Amaefule Michael Expresses Optimism Of NPFL Ticket, As Team Hits Asaba For NNL Super 8

 

The CEO and President of Kun Khalifa FC of Owerri, Mr Michael Amaefule has expressed optimism of his teams promotion to the NPFL when the new season commences.

The soccer enthusiast revealed this ambition through a massage by the clubs Media ahead their participation in the NNL Super 8 play off kicking of in Asaba, Delta State this weekend, said the team is ready to give it their best shot and earn promotion.

Meanwhile, Kun Khalifat Football Club of Owerri, has arrived Asaba the capital of Delta state, ahead of the 2024/2025 Nigerian National League (NNL) Super 8 playoffs.

The Pride of Imo State coached by Mr Obinna Uzoho "Ayaya" touched down in 'The Big Heart' on Wednesday, 3rd July, 2025, with great expectations of elevating to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) next season.

The NNL Super 8 playoff competition will take place at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta State, from July 5 to 12, 2025, as well as the Jay Jay Okocha Stadium, Ogwashi-Uku.

Kun Khalifa FC of Owerri will slug it out with Warri Wolves, Crown FC and Osun United in the southern conference.

While Wikki Tourists,  Doma United and Barau FC and Yobe Desert Stars will do battle in the northern conference.

The tournament will ascertain the four football clubs that will secure promotion to the NPFL for the 2025/2026 season as well as decide the champions of the 2024/25 NNL season.

The President and CEO of the club, Mr Michael Amaefula has assured that no stone will be left unturned in the quest to get one of the four tickets while the General Manager, Chief Charles Nnadi (Tigana) has charged fans and stakeholders to turn up en masse to cheer the team loudly to victories and eventual success and continue the strong support they've always given to 'The Oba Boys'.
