EMMA OKEWULONU 'IKEOHA' RESIGNS FROM ADC, JOINS NDC
Chief Emmanuel Okewulonu (Ikeoha), the former PDP Senatorial Candidate for Imo North in the 2023 Senatorial elections, has formally resigned his membership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) following extensive consultations with his political associates, supporters, and stakeholders across Okigwe Zone and beyond.
According to a release made public on Ikeoha's new media on his social media handle;
"This decision was taken in the overall interest of the people and in line with his long-standing commitment to the advancement of Okigwe Zone and the development of Nigeria as a whole.
"At a critical moment in our national journey, when Nigerians are yearning for purposeful leadership, economic growth, improved security, respect for human rights, and governance that truly reflects the hopes and aspirations of the people, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) represents a platform that resonates with the desires of the majority of Nigerians.
"The NDC continues to inspire hope among citizens who believe in a better Nigeria founded on justice, accountability, inclusiveness, and people-centered leadership.
"In furtherance of this vision, Ikeoha has aligned with the NDC alongside respected national figures such as His Excellency, Dr. Peter Obi, Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Ex - Governor Achike Udenwa, and other patriotic leaders committed to the rebuilding and transformation of Nigeria.
"He therefore calls on all lovers of progress, unity, and positive change to support the NDC as a credible platform for national renewal and the emergence of a more secure, prosperous, and equitable Nigeria.
