ENYIMBA FC CONGRATULATES ENUGU RANGERS ON 2025/26 NPFL TITLE TRIUMPH

 

Enyimba Football Club warmly congratulates Rangers International FC of Enugu on their emergence as champions of the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

The Flying Antelopes sealed the prestigious league title following a hard fought 2-1 away victory over Ikorodu City on the final day of the campaign at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos, on Sunday.

In a congratulatory message, the Chairman of Enyimba FC, Ambassador Nwankwo 'Papilo' Kanu (MON), described Rangers’ achievement as a remarkable and well deserved success earned through consistency, resilience and determination throughout the season.

“On behalf of the Board, Management, Staff, Technical Crew, Players and the entire Enyimba FC family, i warmly congratulate the General Manager of Enugu Rangers, Barrister Amaobi Ezeaku, the Management team, Technical Adviser Fidelis Ilechukwu, the players and supporters of the club on this outstanding achievement,” Kanu stated.

The Enyimba Boss further praised the Coal City side for flying the flag of Oriental football proudly and wished them success as they prepare to represent Nigeria in the 2026/2027 CAF Champions League competition.

“Winning the NPFL title is never an easy feat and Rangers have shown great character and quality in achieving this milestone. We wish them a successful continental campaign and continued progress in the seasons ahead,” he added.

Enyimba FC joins the football fraternity across the country in celebrating Rangers International for their impressive accomplishment and contribution to the growth of Nigerian club football.
