_…Parents, Community Members Hail Club’s Rare Gesture, Pledge Stronger Support_

In a heartwarming show of love, appreciation and true community spirit, Enyimba FC on Thursday, April 9, 2026, lit up Aba with a memorable Kiddies-Fan Outreach that left young supporters, their parents and residents of the neighbourhood overwhelmed with joy.

In line with the club’s long standing tradition of celebrating loyalty and strengthening fan connection, the Management of the People’s Elephant embarked on a special holiday visit to the home of the club’s most consistent and dedicated kiddies fans, rewarding their unwavering passion and commitment to Enyimba FC.

The surprise visit, which took place at Ugo Street, off High Text Road, Obohia, Aba, saw selected Enyimba stars led by team captain, Kalu Nweke, storm the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ifeanyichukwu Anamasonye to present gift items, including launch bags and other school items to the club’s young supporters, Kamsichukwu and Somtochukwu, in support of their return to school after the Easter holidays.

Joining Nweke in the inspiring visit were goalkeeper Kelvin Ogunga, Enyimba’s top scorer Chidera Michael, and the club’s exciting young sensation Samuel Okechukwu “Eshiwe”, whose presence turned the family compound into an atmosphere of celebration, excitement and admiration.

The gesture instantly attracted the attention of neighbours and community members, many of whom gathered in awe as the Enyimba contingent delivered gift items and encouragement to the thrilled children whose love for the People’s Elephant has remained consistent, despite the distance and stress of attending matches.

The Kiddies-Fan Outreach initiative, conceived by the club’s Sporting Director, Mr. Daniel Eke, was designed to reward loyalty, inspire young supporters and further strengthen the bond between Enyimba FC and the next generation of fans.

Beyond the excitement of football, the outreach further underlined Enyimba’s growing commitment to community development, unity and youth encouragement, values that have continued to define the Aba giants both on and off the pitch.

Speaking during the brief but emotional presentation, Mr. Eke applauded the parents for supporting their children’s passion and for allowing them attend Enyimba home games regularly.

He assured the family that the club has taken notice of the children’s devotion, while urging them to continue guiding the kids towards academic excellence.

“We are proud of their passion and dedication. Enyimba is not just about football, it is about family. We encourage them to keep doing well in school and we will continue to support them in the little ways we can,” Eke said.

Captain Kalu Nweke also expressed delight at the loyalty shown by the young fans, noting that such commitment deserves recognition.

“We understand the stress and distance they go through just to support Enyimba. Seeing kids show this kind of love gives us extra motivation. This is why we must always fight for the badge,” Nweke stated.

The highlight of the visit came as the kids, visibly excited and emotional, received the gift items in the presence of their mother and neighbours who watched the scene with admiration.

An emotional Mrs. Ifeanyichukwu, mother of the young fans, expressed gratitude to the club for remembering her children, describing the visit as a rare and unforgettable honour for her family.

She further pledged that she and her husband, who was unavoidably absent, would continue to ensure their children attend Enyimba home matches, while maintaining discipline and focus in their education.

“This means so much to us. My children love Enyimba deeply, and today the club has shown them that their love is appreciated. We will continue to support them and support Enyimba always,” she said.

The outreach, which has now become a memorable holiday experience for the kids, also sent a powerful message across the community that Enyimba FC values every supporter and remains committed to building a football culture rooted in appreciation and genuine human connection.

As neighbours and community members applauded the rare gesture, the visit stands as a reminder that Enyimba FC is not only determined to build a winning team, but also a strong football family that celebrates loyalty, especially from the children who represent the future heartbeat of the People’s Elephant.

Enyimba FC, through this initiative, continues to set the standard in fan engagement and community responsibility, proving once again that the club’s greatness goes beyond trophies, it lives in the hearts of the people.
