As the 2025 Edition of the annual Ifeanyi Ekwueme Tico/Select Preseason football tournament advances to its crescendo, 3 NPFL sides seek to make the final.

Enyimba FC of Aba, Rangers Int'l of Enugu and newly promoted Kun Khalifat FC of Owerri are made it to the semi finals of this seasons contest while new kids in the block, Uyo based KMK Foundation Academy are the only outsiders after replacing Abia Warriors who decided to concentrate on the NFF mini Super league for the Nation's continental representatives.

On Saturday at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu, Rangers will host Kun Khalifat in one of the semi finals while nine time NPFL winners, Enyimba FC will trade tackles with KMK FA at Enyimba International Stadium, Aba by 3pm.

 Winners of both encounters will square up in the finals on Sunday to determine who dethrones last seasons winners Achievers FC of Enugu who did the unthinkable when they won at Abakalikinlast years.
