Imo SWAN Mourns As Member, Kenneth Ajuzie Loses Mum
The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Imo State Chapter, has received with deep sorrow the news of the passing of Mrs. Comfort Oguguo Ajuzie (née Nwagbaraocha), mother of one of its members, Kenneth Ajuzie.
Mrs. Ajuzie, who passed on at the age of 70, hailed from Umuchudo Umuodu Village, Owerri Municipal, Imo State, and was married to Mr. Ufomba Ajuzie of Umuagwada Umuaro Village, Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State.
Until her death, she was a dedicated healthcare worker in Baltimore, Maryland, United States of America, where she rendered years of selfless service to humanity.
Reacting to the sad development, Chairman of Imo SWAN, Cosmos Chukwuemeka, expressed profound grief over the loss, describing Mrs. Ajuzie as a woman of strength, compassion, and dignity whose impact was felt both within and outside her immediate family.
The Chairman further assured Kenneth Ajuzie of the association’s unwavering support during this difficult period, noting that Imo SWAN stands firmly with him in prayers, solidarity, and brotherhood.
Imo SWAN extends its heartfelt condolences to the Ajuzie family and joins friends, colleagues, and well-wishers across Nigeria and the diaspora in mourning the departed matriarch, whose life was marked by service, humility, and love.
May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
