Owerri, Imo State – The African Democratic Congress (ADC) family in Owerri Zone has rolled out the drums in celebration, hailing the emergence of Sir Bon Unachukwu as the party’s National Vice Chairman for the South East.

In an elated message delivered through the Zone’s leader, Hon. Andyson Obani, the ADC stalwart described Sir Bon as “a detribalized nationalist and a leader par excellence” whose political clout and depth of experience stand poised to reposition the party not only across the South East but throughout Nigeria.

“Sir Bon’s vast political experience and sagacity to turn around the fortunes of ADC is commendable,” Obani declared. “He is an exceptional and accessible leader whose actions speak louder than his voice. We are solidly behind his leadership and reaffirm our loyalty to the Imo State Working Committee led by Prof. James Okoroma and Barr. Ihejirika.”

Obani, a respected political voice in Imo, also commended the relentless efforts of Owerri Zone’s LGA Chairmen, noting their commitment to inclusiveness and coalition-building. He urged for “effective strategic planning, prompt policy implementation, and a stronger, united Imo ADC” as the way forward.

With Sir Bon Unachukwu’s emergence, party loyalists believe the ADC’s South East structure is set for a new dawn of unity, innovation, and political vibrancy that will reverberate across the Nigerian political landscape.
