
The Show Begins As 8 Teams Justle For 4 NPFL Slots In Asaba
The draws for the NNL super 8 promotion play-off has been made. The ceremony took place in the VIP longe of the Stephen Keshi Stadium,Asaba.The chairman,Delta Football Association,chief Godwin Adode declared the event open on behalf of the chairman Delta State Sports Commission,Onos Oborevbori.The chairman NNL,George Aluo,assured the coaches,team managers,referees and journalists present of an hitch free tournament. Aluo clarified,there will be no gate fees,as football fans are encouraged to come out enmasse to support good football.Eight teams from across the country are in Asaba for the much talked about super 8 play offs.Four imatches are billed daily with Barau FC taking on Yobe Desert Stars FC at 9am tomorrow,Saturday July 5,inside the mainbiwl of the magnificent Stephen Keshi Stadium,Asaba
and Wikki Tourists will be squaring up against Doma Utd at 11.30 in the morning session. Crown FC will lock horns with Kun Khalif FC at 2pm, while Osun Utd FC play Warri Wolves by 4pm in the last game of Day One in the Southern Conference. Tomorrow is rest day./SSU
