Amb Ogbonna Mourns With Kano Govt, Onyeocha Over their Loss

 







The Chairman Imo State Sports Commission, Hon Prince Sir (Amb) Eleazar Onyewuchi Ogbonna (FINCA) has expressed his sincere condolence to the Government of Kano State and the state Ministry of Youth & Sports Development over the loss of their athletes/officials in a road mishap while returning from the just concluded 22nd National Sports Festival NSF, tagged Gateway Games 2024 in Ogun State.


In a massage made public through his Media Aide, Amb Ogbonna prayed for the soul of the dead to rest in peace and quick recovery for those that sustained various degrees of injuries just as he asked God Almighty to grant the Kano Government and families of the deceased the strength to bear the painful loss.


He described those the deceased athletes as 'champions' and urged the Kano State Government/National Sports Commission NSC, to honour them as heroes so their sacrifice will not be in vein.



Similarly, Hon Prince Sir (Amb) Eleazar Onyewuchi Ogbonna, FINCA has expressed his heart felt condolences and that of the entire management & staff of the Sports Commission to the Imo State Sports Commissioner for Sports, Hon Obinna Onyeocha over the demise of his beloved mother.


The ex- professional footballer who stared for teams in the Italian Seria-A described the Commissioner's mother's death as a painful one. He urged him and the entire Onyeocha family not to grief like people without hope but to cast their faith on the Lord her maker hoping that the beautiful soul of 'Mama' is resting peacefully in the bossom of the Lord.


He however charged family to always uphold the legacies of 'Mama' and prayed for God's strength and fortitude to them to bear the irreparable loss.
